How to Relieve Lower Back Pain
(Top 3 Supplements You Should Take)
Hey, I’m dr. Gregg Gerstin with Align Wellness Center here in Northbrook Illinois and today I want to talk with you about some at-home things you can do to help if you’ve had lower back pain. You see, I work with patients all day every day that have spinal issues including lower back pain. And they always ask me what can I do the next time I have an exacerbation or something gets bad, or I just have an ache.
So, I found that there are really three important supplements that you can wind up using that can help you to avoid lower back pain, to turn down the volume when it’s cranked up, as well as to prevent it from coming back.
So, the first one that I absolutely love winds up being a high potency, high effectiveness fish oil. These are great at reducing systemic inflammation that causes overall ache and pain. You can find these on our online store. I like the EPA DHEA extra-strength entericly coated. I guide everyone to take at least 2,000 milligrams and for most patients I even have them up to 5,000 milligrams.
The second one that I really love on helping to manage long term chronic inflammation winds up being Kaprex. This is an amazing nutrient that was discovered that’s a selective kinase modulator that’s been shown to reduce inflammation safely, to reduce pain safely, along the COX-2 inhibitor pathway. The same way that Vioxx and Celebrex once-upon-a-time did but it doesn’t have the negative side effects.
The last supplement I want to go over with you is for when you have that acute new problem. When you wound up being in the yard all day and you can’t get into your chiropractor’s office to take care of the problem but you want something to help you get comfortable over the next several hours. That one is right here. It’s called ISO flavonoid intensive care. It’s the acute pain response that you need to wind up help and reduce the pain so you can feel a little bit better, to get through the day. When you wind up taking two of these, up to four times a day, to reduce that pain. Now, in addition if you’re in that last scenario let’s make sure that we’re doing plenty of icing. 20 minutes on 20 minutes off, 20 minutes on. And then let’s also make sure that you get in to see your chiropractor as soon as you can. If you don’t have one connect with me. I’m happy to find one in your area. If you do make sure that they’re taking care of you and managing all of these symptoms, not just the structure but supporting you in some nutrients to help out.
If you want to see where you can get these we’ll put a link to our online store in the bio below. Once again I’m Dr. Gregg Gerstin and thank you for letting me be a part of your health.
