What Is Good For Vertigo? Try This Diet For Vertigo Patients

Hey, it’s Doctor Gregg with Align Wellness Center and if you’ve had Vertigo, you’re going to want to stay tuned for some of the tips I have for you. I’m a chiropractor and I specialize in the spine and the nervous system. And over the last six months, we’ve had some amazing results in helping people naturally in managing their Vertigo.

Now, a lot of the work we do is in the office. But, I’ve gotta let you know, if you’ve been having Vertigo, there are some things you may be able to do at home to help reduce your symptoms, and reduce the likelihood of you having another occurrence. Some of those things that we’ve found to be outstanding is introducing a good bit of ginger into your lifestyle. Additionally, things like eating almonds, as well as using lemon and apple cider vinegar have all been great additions to our patients’ diet and lifestyles that have reduced the frequency, reduced the severity, and reduced the intensity of Vertigo symptoms that they’ve had.

Now, there’s one more big tip that we’ve found that really helps our patients who are suffering from Vertigo. And that’s hydration. So, if you have had problems with Vertigo, you want to be sure that you’re drinking enough water. Now, how much water should you be drinking? Well, what I find is the best amount of water is half of your body weight in fluid ounces. So, if you weigh 200 pounds, like I do, then you’ll want to drink 100 fluid ounces of water a day. Now, if you’re not there, don’t jump in and get there tomorrow. But, go through and add a cup a day for a week, and slowly increase ’til you get there.
